1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ZiBuy Uganda ("ZiBuy", "we", "us", or "our") at zibuy-5deae.web.app or through our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

ZiBuy is a classifieds marketplace platform operated in Uganda. These terms govern your use of our website, mobile app, and all related services.

2. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on ZiBuy.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• ZiBuy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Posting Advertisements

When posting ads on ZiBuy, you agree that:

• You own or have the right to sell the item(s) listed.
• All information provided is accurate, truthful, and not misleading.
• Your listing does not violate any Ugandan laws or regulations.
• You will not post duplicate, spam, or fraudulent listings.
• Prices are clearly stated in Ugandan Shillings (UGX).

4. Prohibited Items & Activities

The following are strictly prohibited on ZiBuy:

• Illegal weapons, drugs, or controlled substances
• Counterfeit or stolen goods
• Pornographic or adult content
• Human trafficking or exploitation
• Wildlife or endangered species
• Fraudulent services or scams
• Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory content
• Any item or service prohibited under Ugandan law

5. Payments & Fees

• Basic listing on ZiBuy is free of charge.
• Premium services (boosts, business plans, verification) require payment via MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money.
• All payments are processed manually and verified by ZiBuy administrators.
• Fees paid for premium services are non-refundable once activated.
• ZiBuy does not process direct payments between buyers and sellers.

6. Transactions Between Users

ZiBuy is a classifieds platform. We facilitate connections between buyers and sellers but are not a party to any transaction between users. Therefore:

• ZiBuy is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed.
• ZiBuy is not liable for any losses arising from user transactions.
• Users are strongly advised to meet in safe, public places.
• Always inspect goods before making payment.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on ZiBuy including logos, design, text, and software is owned by ZiBuy Uganda and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

By posting content on ZiBuy, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, modify, and distribute that content on our platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ugandan law, ZiBuy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Uganda.

10. Changes to Terms

ZiBuy reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
